DPA Microphones’ 4097 CORE Supercardioid Choir Mic

DPA Microphones’ 4097 CORE Supercardioid Choir Mic is designed for houses of worship and other choir applications. Intended specifically for capturing dynamic choir sound, it has the same sonic qualities as the brand’s d:vote CORE 4099 Instrument Mics. It features DPA’s flat off-axis supercardioid pattern and, like all DPA microphones, has been designed to be one of the most natural-sounding solutions available. The mic has a high gain-before-feedback, which makes the entire choir sound natural—not just on axis, but from all angles. This makes it possible to use multiple mics on the choir without having to fight the artifacts created from uneven mic pattern pickup, simplifying the process for a sound engineer. Configured for both wireless or wired configurations through a DPA adapter and a MicroDot connector, the 4097 features CORE by DPA, creating an even clearer sound.
