Digital Signage Expo Pushed To Late Summer/Early Fall Over Coronavirus Concerns

Digital Signage Expo, DSE

Digital Signage Expo (DSE), which was scheduled to take place at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas NV from March 31 to April 3, has been postponed until later this year due to concerns surrounding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Exponation CEO Angelo Varrone addressed the situation in a statement to the DSE community, assuring them that the show would be rescheduled for later this year, either in the late summer or early fall.

“This was not an easy decision to make, but the escalation of travel bans and coronavirus cases dictates this action,” Varrone wrote. “We are working with the Las Vegas Convention Center to secure new dates for DSE 2020 and will be making that announcement in the near future. More details will follow; we just wanted you to know this as soon as possible.”

This news follows Exponation’s original statement, which addressed the coronavirus and informed attendees that the organization was monitoring the situation. Informa and the National Association of Broadcasters have also postponed Enterprise Connect and the NAB Show, respectively, in light of the current circumstances.
