Williams Sound: Digi-Wave DLT 300 Digital Transceiver with Bilingual and Relay Mode

Williams Sound has added more functionality to the Digi-Wave DLT 300 digital transceiver. In addition to its true interpretation mode—which allows interpreters to hear the floor language in their headset while simultaneously transmitting the interpreted language on a separate channel—the DLT 300 now boasts even greater flexibility, ease of use and portability with the addition of new Bilingual and Relay modes. Bilingual Mode enables the interpreter to switch the transmission channel quickly and seamlessly when he or she switches between different target languages. Now, an interpreter can react quickly when the floor language changes. No need to change gears, rewire or instruct audience to change channels. Relay Mode enables 1 interpreter to act as the relay language. There is no need for an interpreter console/base station to offer relay capability. Relay mode gives event coordinators more flexibility when hiring interpreters, because no additional equipment is needed.
