RCI announced the launch of the EB-KMK series of electrical box inserts. Created in collaboration with Tom Knauss and KMK Technologies, this new EB insert is designed to provide a professional housing for AV and broadcast connectivity using readily available Hoffman electrical boxes. The first offering, the KMK9U6D insert, is made with durable yet lightweight .093 aluminum and fits perfectly inside an 18×18 Hoffman Box (ASE-ASG18x18x6), providing space for 9 RU of proprietary 15.75″ rack panels, or a single 1-piece panel, all of which can be configured with any type of fiber or copper connectivity. The locking front-door panel is spring hinged for easy installation and removal, and provides a cutaway bottom for cable egress. Comes standard with Black Matte Powder Coat finish, but always available in custom finishes. Additional commonly used sizes to be released soon.
