Meyer Sound’s UP-4slim Compact, Self-Powered Speaker System suits applications that require high performance in a slender and lightweight package. The all-aluminum enclosure houses 2 4″ cone drivers, a 1″ metal dome tweeter, a 3-channel amp and dedicated signal processing. Operating frequency range is 65Hz–18kHz, and a conical waveguide produces a smooth and consistently wide 100° dispersion pattern. As with the 9 other speakers in the IntelligentDC series, the UP-4slim receives balanced audio and 48V DC from a remote MPS-488HP power supply unit via a single 5-conductor cable with termination on a 5-pin Phoenix connector. The UP-4 slim measures 15.9″Hx4.29″Wx5.69″D and weighs 14lb. Custom colors and weather protection for outdoor installation are optional. Mounting accessories include U-bracket, cradle-style yoke and pole-mount adaptor.
