At Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2020, Avnu member and Milan supporter Neutrik announced that a Milan audio module was in development. The Milan audio module from Neutrik will allow manufacturers in the pro-audio market to build a wide range of Milan audio products—from single loudspeakers and microphones to complex multichannel mixing desks and multi-port conferencing systems—quickly and easily.
Neutrik is making it easier for professional-audio networking manufacturers to add Milan to product lines, which, in turn, will expand the Milan-certified ecosystem of devices. A Milan Module certification program has already been developed; therefore, if a manufacturer implements a Milan-certified module into a device, it can submit it for certification without having to go through certification testing. This should help speed the adoption, growth and availability of certified product.
