“We’re extremely excited to gather the pro AV industry together for InfoComm 2021. There isn’t anything quite like the in-person experience of learning about new technology, making new business connections, and meeting up with longtime industry peers,” David Labuskes, CTS, CAE, RCDD, CEO of AVIXA, said. “Like countless other industries, pro AV has been affected in a multitude of ways by the pandemic – some negative, like the pause of live events, others positive, such as the dramatic adoption of video communications. At the show, we’ll explore the trends that emerged, and which will be long-lasting.”

InfoComm 2021 will feature a show floor with exhibitor booths, as well as education sessions where attendees can explore conferencing and collaboration, content, production, streaming, digital signage, learning, live events, audio and more.

InfoComm sessions will explore topics like designing flexible collaboration spaces, clear audio for conferencing, hybrid workspaces and Bring Your Own Meeting (BYOM) systems. They will delve into trends in interactivity and touchscreens in a post-pandemic world, overcoming connectivity barriers using 4G/5G connectivity, using AI and machine learning to trigger content changes. AV solutions for learning, as well as content and streaming, will be discussed as well.

The show will also offer many opportunities for networking at events like the Tech Managers Forum; the Independent Technical Services, Systems Integrators and Consultants Councils Reception; Young AV Reception; Women’s Council Breakfast; Live Events Forum and Reception; and the Diversity Council Networking event.

“It’s been two years since InfoComm held an in-person show,” Rochelle Richardson, CEM, Senior Vice President of Expositions and Events, AVIXA, said. “The absence of that one week to gather to learn, network, and celebrate the world of AV has been felt across the industry. The AVIXA team cannot wait to arrive at the Orange County Convention Center in October and welcome back the AV industry to InfoComm!”
