Origin Acoustics has announced the acquisition of Ambisonic Systems. Origin Acoustics is a manufacturer of architectural audio and the worldwide distributor of Ambisonic Systems. The latter company is a manufacturer of performance luxury professional and residential loudspeaker systems. It was founded in 2009 by Jeffery Coombs. Ambisonic Systems specializes in high-output, audiophile-quality sound-reinforcement loudspeakers. The company’s engineering team has more than 64 years’ experience in designing professional and high-end loudspeakers, specializing in ribbon line arrays. The company has spent years producing pro-audio gear for venues and theaters.
