Electro-Voice’s PREVIEW is a platform-independent software application designed to configure Electro-Voice line-array loudspeakers for optimized, even coverage. The solution offers efficient system setup by creating visualizations of coverage, SPL, frequency response and precise mechanical-load calculations. The software also recommends mechanically valid combinations of loudspeakers and rigging hardware. PREVIEW provides a full 3-dimensional environment in which the user may manipulate views and place objects anywhere, with complete control over rotation and scaling. PREVIEW’s flexible tools and streamlined workflow are designed to help users find the ideal configuration and overall position of line arrays, as well as the angles between loudspeaker elements, amplifier drive and delay requirements.
