L-Acoustics has announced the future acquisition of a majority stake in DeltaLive UK, a specialist in AV services and rental. This operation follows the November 2018 acquisition by L-Acoustics Group of HGP, which Sound & Communications covered when it occurred.
For Paul Keating and Mark Bonner, the founders of DeltaLive UK, this transaction coincides with the sale of their Dubai-based operations, Delta Sound LLC, to PRG, marking a turning point in the company’s history.
For L-Acoustics, the acquisition of DeltaLive UK widens the possibilities for creative and collaborative approaches to the deployment of AV technologies. The relationship between L-Acoustics and DeltaLive UK was recently strengthened by the introduction of L-ISA Immersive Hyperreal Sound. DeltaLive UK deployed L-ISA technology in high-profile events, including the sound production of BBC Proms 2018 at Royal Albert Hall.
