Solotech (Montreal, Canada) has acquired Toronto-based Midnite Hour Productions as a key step in its expansion plan. According to François Ménard, CEO of Solotech, this strategic move will allow Solotech to consolidate its position in the Greater Toronto (GTA) market in addition to joining a team of experts in tailor-made solutions for lighting, video, rigging and decor for stage, film and corporate events.
Midnite Hour’s founders, Marty Anderson and Louis Racine, as well as all of their employees, will now be part of the larger Solotech family.
For Anderson and Racine, “Operating under the world-renowned Solotech name is akin to attaining the highest international standards from both a technological and systems integration standpoint. Our clients are going to be thrilled!”
Ménard stated, “With our Montreal, Quebec, Toronto and Vancouver facilities, clients will now have access to a pan-Canadian network, as well as our Las Vegas point-of-service, to support technical and creative demands of artistic, sports and corporate events in North America and internationally.”
