Opticis’ USB-FC-31AA is a USB 3.1 Active Optical Cable with a USB A-type input to a USB A-type receptacle. It supports SuperSpeed USB 10Gbps data rates, and is compatible with USB 3.1 and USB 3.0 only. The USB-FC-31AA cable transmits USB 3.1 or 3.0 data up to 50m (164′) over plenum-graded (or Low Smoke Zero Halogen) hybrid cable. The cable is Tx/Rx insensitive. USB-FC-31AA does not require any software to use, and does not require an external power supply. Just plug and play to transmit USB 3.1 data.
