multiCAM Systems’ PUBLISHER v2.0 media asset management module helps users in commercial AV environments fully automate and customize publishing workflows. The new version is a standalone application that can process and post video content—used with the company’s live multi-camera production systems for lecture capture, presentations and more—without manual intervention. PUBLISHER allows those working remotely to manage video for live productions from any multiCAM integration production systems over the local area network, from any connected workstation. With all manual intervention removed, operators using the PUBLISHER application can create custom workflows triggered through an API. For example, PUBLISHER users can now rename, copy, trim and edit files; manage video insertions and content encoding, including H264; and upload files on demand to FTP and social media platforms. 3rd-party hardware and software integration automatically triggers these custom workflows.
