Linea Research has announced the latest version of its System Engineer software, introducing FIR processing for suitably equipped amps and system controllers. The portable M Series and fixed-installation C Series of multichannel networked DSP amps offer 4- and 8-channel variants with power that ranges from 400W to 5,000W per channel, along with an optional Dante interface. This latest hardware and software revision takes advantage of the latest available DSP technology, and it allows users to import their own, or speaker-manufacturer-provided, FIR filter sets in either 48kHz or 96kHz resolution.
