For well over a decade, the house of worship vertical market has been one of the two most important for integrators. That’s proven both in Sound & Communications’ BPA audit, which indicates the segment-by-segment breakdown of our readers, and in our annual Commercial Systems Integration Survey, in which integrators specify where their revenue and projects are coming from. Each April, we publish an entire issue devoted to the house of worship market. It includes at least two in-depth installation features, offering a 360-degree view of the audio, video, lighting and control systems, as well as acoustics, that enhance the worship experience. In addition, every month, David Lee Jr., PhD, writes his “House of Worship: Business” column, focusing on how integrators can best serve the worship community. Plus, each month, Anthony Vargas writes “House of Worship: Technology,” a full-scale installation story in the vein of those featured in the April theme issue.
