Attero Tech has upgraded its unD6IO-BT Dante-networked-audio wallplate, which provides call-bridging mode, enabling the wallplate to bridge a mobile-phone call directly onto the Dante sound system. Calls can be initiated or transferred to the conferencing system without the need to disconnect and call back. The upgrade also adds support for Audio Video Remote Control Protocol (AVRCP), delivering transport control (play, pause, next track, etc.) over the network for use by control systems when the smartphone is the streaming audio source. AVRCP will also recognize the name of the BlueTooth-connected device, as well as the currently playing song/artist/album. The upgrade also adds full support for Dante Domain Manager (DDM).
