BICSI has released its newly revised ICT Cabling Installation Program. The updated course curriculum is interactive and engaging, and promises to teach participants the latest techniques for ICT cabling installation. Course topics include: transmission fundamentals; how to install, splice and terminate cable; blueprint reading; firestopping; and more. Classes begin March 27, with course locations to be announced.
In addition, the Information Technology Systems Installation Methods Manual, 7th edition, is now available. This new manual is a go-to guide for knowledge and specifics on performing a range of installation tasks safely and effectively.
2017 BICSI Winter Conference attendees will be able to see presentations introducing the new program and will also be able to order the new Information Technology Systems Installation Methods Manual, 7th edition, on site. The 2017 BICSI Winter Conference will take place January 22-26 in Tampa FL.
Testing under BICSI’s current ICT Installation Program, v6.2, is still available. Interested parties should apply before March 10, 2017, to test on the current course material. The last v6.2 exams will be given on March 24, 2017. Examinations under the new program will begin March 31, 2017.
