Amphenol’s Amphe-Dante range of Dante digital-to-analog audio adapters simplifies connection of analog equipment to Dante networks. Its cable dongle housing design allows mounting of the adapter without an additional rack or shelf space. The adapters receive audio channels from a Dante network and provide studio-quality, low-latency audio via an XLR connector to analog audio equipment. Any audio available on the Dante network can be routed via the XLR outputs to an amp, powered speaker, mixing console, DSP or other analog audio device. The initial release offers a single- or 2-channel option with premium XLR connectors and a durable molded housing. XLR adapters (for example XLR-to-RCA and XLR-to-phono) can be used to connect to audio equipment without built-in XLR connectors.
